What are some of the sustainable fabrics?
Recycled cotton prevents textile wastes from going to landfills and also saves lots of water in comparison to conventional and organic cotton
Linen is a natural fiber that stems from the Flax plant. It can grow in poor soil. It also uses less water, energy and pesticides as compared to cotton or polyester. Flax plant also has a high CO2 absorption rate
Recycled polyester prevents plastic bottles from ending up in landfills and requires much less resources compared to new fiber and also produces less CO2 emission compared to new fiber
Organic cotton produces much less CO2 compared to conventional cotton and does not use pesticide like regular cotton
