FFP2 mask is a protective device that covers the nose and mouth and helps protect the wearer from breathing in hazardous substances. These masks have attached respiratory valves that filter out at least 94% of particles in the air, including large and small particles with ≤ 8% leakage. Valves follow one-way mechanism means and closes when you breathe in, so pathogens can’t get in through it. They are most suitable in healthcare environments wherein the chances of getting infected is higher. FFP2 masks fulfill the EN Standard 149:2001 and are maintained by European Committee for Standardization classification of air filtration.
